SINGAPORE -
Media OutReach Newswire - 22 July 2026 - Shopee today launched #MyShopeeJingle, a nationwide
competition inviting tertiary students across Singapore to create the
next soundtrack for Shopee's iconic 12.12 campaign. More than just a
jingle competition, #MyShopeeJingle gives aspiring musicians,
songwriters and creators the opportunity to showcase their creativity on
one of Shopee's biggest stages, with the winning entry set to be
featured in the brand's 12.12 campaign.
From Campus Creativity to a National Campaign
The winning entry will receive a S$10,000 cash grand prize, have their
jingle featured in Shopee's 12.12 campaign, and gain exclusive behind
the scenes access to the professional recording and campaign production
process. In addition, all three shortlisted finalists will be offered
internship opportunities with Shopee Marketing, offering these aspiring
creatives the opportunity to work on real campaigns at one of
Singapore's leading consumer brands.
Geraldine Ho, Head of Marketing at Shopee Singapore, said:
"Shopee's catchy jingles have become an iconic part of our campaigns
over the years. This time, we're handing the mic to the next generation
of creators to provide an opportunity for them to showcase their
creativity on a national platform while gaining industry exposure. We're
excited to find out what fresh tunes they come up with and what the
next 12.12 soundtrack will sound like."
Bringing the Audition to Campus
To bring the competition closer to tertiary students,
#MyShopeeJingle Campus Activations will be held across three
campuses this August, allowing students to record and submit their
jingles during their freshmen orientation programmes and co-curricular
activity festivals.
The campus activations will take place at:
- - Nanyang Technological University (NTU) on 12 August
- - Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) on 22 August
- -Singapore Management University (SMU) on 26 August
More details on the campus activations will be shared on Shopee Singapore's
Instagram and
TikTok
from 1 August 2026. Students can step into Shopee's recording booths to
record and submit their jingles on the spot, or snap photos at themed
photo booths. Students who complete tasks can also enjoy complimentary
matcha from local beverage brand
Sugar Belly and get to spin Shopee's gachapon machine for a
chance to win exciting prizes, including a laptop, brand samples and
Shopee vouchers.
