With its world-class landscapes, ancient Huizhou villages, intangible cultural heritage experiences, and diverse nighttime activities, Huangshan has launched a five-day, four-night independent travel itinerary themed “Warm Breezes and Light Clouds, Time to Recharge”. Designed with Korea’s MZ generation in mind, the itinerary combines Oriental aesthetics, visual storytelling, and opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Huangshan is linked by high-speed rail to Shanghai and Hangzhou. Charter flights between South Korea and Huangshan are also planned for October and November 2026. The Incheon–Huangshan route is scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays from October 14 to November 4, while the Busan–Huangshan route is planned for the same days from October 28 to November 28.
On the first day, travelers visit the Huashan Mystery Grottoes, where ancient caves are presented alongside contemporary light and media art. The itinerary then continues to a Korean-themed area at Huishang Guli and to Tunxi He Street, followed by a performance of Huixiu. The suggested overnight stay is at UPCLOUD·SHEDEMOYUN VILLA.
Day two is devoted to the Huangshan Scenic Area, including the Welcoming Guest Pine, the West Sea Grand Canyon and the Monkey Watching the Sea rock formation. An overnight stay on the mountain gives visitors an opportunity to see the sea of clouds and sunrise, weather permitting.
On day three, the route takes in the Mukeng Bamboo Forest, one of the filming locations for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Xidi, a UNESCO World Heritage village. The two stops offer time among bamboo groves and the traditional architecture of Huizhou.
Day four begins in Huizhou Ancient City with activities such as gilding Huizhou inksticks, paper cutting and making fish-shaped lanterns. Visitors then travel to Xixinan and Tangmo, where the suggested evening program includes an aoyu lantern procession.
On the final day, travelers visit Mount Qiyun for a walk among its Danxia rock formations and historic buildings. The itinerary concludes at Huangshan North station, where visitors can take a high-speed train to Shanghai or Hangzhou and connect with flights to South Korea.
