According to a report from zaobao.com.sg, based on Korean media reports, Seoul police received a report about Kim Sae-ron's death around 4:54 PM local time (5:54 PM Singapore Time). It was revealed that a friend, who was supposed to meet with Kim Sae-ron, found her body at her home and immediately contacted the police. The report also mentioned that the police have not found any signs of foul play and are investigating the cause of death.

Kim Sae-ron began her acting career at the age of nine, starring in the film *A Brand New Life*, directed by Korean-French director Ounie Lecomte. She attended the Cannes Film Festival for the film's screening and became the youngest actress to be invited to the event.

At the age of 10, she appeared in the film *The Man from Nowhere* alongside Won Bin, which brought her fame and earned her various awards and popularity. She was once considered part of the "Three Kims" alongside Kim Yoo-jung and Kim So-hyun, who were regarded as the most famous young actresses in South Korea.

Kim Sae-ron was involved in a drunk driving incident in May 2022, where she crashed into a tree and a transformer before fleeing the scene. She was fined 20 million won (approximately 20,000 Singapore dollars) and subsequently suspended her acting career.
