Earthquake and Tsunami Victims Palu Indonesia has Reached 2,010 People

RIAUGREEN.COM - The death toll from the earthquake and tsunami in Central Sulawesi increased to 2,010 people. This data was disclosed by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) until Tuesday, 9 October 2018 at 13.00 WIB.

Sutopo explained that most of the thousands of dead victims were recorded in Palu City as many as 1,601 people. There were 171 victims in Donggala, 222 victims in Sigi, 15 victims in Parigi Moutong, and one person in Pasangkayu, West Sulawesi.

"The victims have all been buried where there are 934 mass burials and family burials of 1,076 bodies," he said.

For injured victims, it was recorded that 10,679 people were 2,549 seriously injured and 8,130 minor injuries. Missing victims reached 671 people.

Sutopo added, as many as 82,775 people were displaced with 74,044 details in Central Sulawesi and 8,731 people outside Central Sulawesi. "There were 67,310 units damaged," he said. (rdk)
